Our Rural Growth Hub in Ambleside has been created to help the region's business community thrive.

Funded by DEFRA, this is one of eleven rural growth hubs across the county, providing space and support to local businesses and entrepreneurs. Businesses across a range of sectors can benefit from a variety of support packages thanks to this development as part of Cumbria LEP’s Rural Growth Network pilot.

The university is a partner in Cumbria Business Growth Hub & Rural Growth  Network. Together these initiatives offer a great range of support and opportunities to businesses. Working with partners of Cumbria Business Growth Hub & Rural Growth Network, the university offers an exciting calendar of events and workshops.
